Beating a non-competition agreement

I have not visited The Virginia Non-Compete Blog for some time. I will have to check in more often as I am a little amused by their post THE BEST WAY TO BEAT A NON-COMPETE CLAUSE and I must admit that the post does contain some good advice.

Do you want to know the secret to avoiding the crippling effects of signing a non-compete or non-solicitation agreement? Well here it is….just say “no.” Do not sign the agreement when it is presented by your prospective employer.

Do read the full post. I want to be clear that if I represent an employer faced with this situation then my advice will be to not hire the employee.
